Media distribution specialist Enrich Social Productions (ESP) has raised £2.1 million with the help of Ariadne Capital, the firm founded by Julie Meyer, who features in the online version of BBC show Dragons’ Den.

Ariadne, which has a founding stake in ESP and has advised the firm since 2007, helped to bring together a syndicate of investors including Edge Performance VCT, which led the investment round, BetFair founder Andrew Black, Sportingbet founder Mark Blandford, Sportingindex founder Richard Glynn and Philip Highlander, principal of strategic investments at Goldman Sachs.

Blandford describes ESP as one of the ‘irresistible investment opportunities that you just can’t turn down’.

The company has developed technology to create and optimise formats for brands across multiple distribution channels.

Ariadne recently announced the backing of its debut venture capital fund by ten entrepreneurs.
