The ever-growing internationalisation of AIM continues at pace, with the market set to welcome its first Japanese venture this Friday. Secure Design is a biometrics company that offers a range of fingerprint authentication products and systems to companies with high security needs.
Secure Design occupies a lucrative sector. Incumbent AIM biometrics counter RC Group is going great guns, while the global market for biometrics is growing at 30 per cent a year and is forecast to be worth $6 billion by 2010.
The company is not planning any fundraising at admission, although a £15 million debut price tag looks likely.
