Invista, a real estate investment management newcomer, saw its shares soar to an immediate 5p premium to its 90p AIM placing price on Tuesday.

Some £103 million (a net £98 million) was raised for the company, with institutional investors enthusiastic in their support. The funds raised will be used as investment capital to establish new real estate funds for which the company will act as investment manager.
