Ingenious Media Investments has launched a third fund that will invest in entertainment companies producing films, video games and television programmes.
The London-based investment manager aims to raise up to £15 million for the fund, named the Shelley Media Fund III, which will target unquoted private limited companies. According to a statement by the firm, the fund will back companies eligible for the government’s Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), enabling investors to benefit from EIS tax breaks.
Ingenious investment director Dylan Jones says the investment focus will be on companies with ‘commercially attractive projects’. Previous investments from the Shelley Media series have included the film Avatar and BBC programme Have I Got News For You.
Shelley Media Fund III will have a minimum cash investment of £10,000 and is open for investors until 5 April.
