The purchase of Arcotherm (UK) and DJ Tool Hire were made through Vp’s tool hire subsidiary Hire Station.

Arcotherm focuses on the hire and sale of heaters, air conditioners and dehumidifiers from its branches in Stoke-on-Trent and Oxford. As such, it will be integrated into Hire Station’s cooling, heating, drying and environmental operation, Climate Hire.

The acquisition of DJ Tool Hire in the Northeast from its administrators completed for an undisclosed sum and is expected to strengthen Hire Station’s tool hire network in the region.

Vp comprises six businesses: tool specialist Hire Station; TPA, provider of portable roadway systems, bridging, fencing and barriers; Torrent Trackside, an infrastructure equipment and services business for the railway and maintenance industries; Groundforce, an excavation support systems provider for the water, civil engineering and construction; UK Forks, rough terrain equipment manufacturer; and Airpac Bukom Oilfield Services, equipment provider to the global oil & gas exploration markets.
