Paris-based media group Hi-media has acquired AdLINK Media, the Germany-based display advertising division of AdLINK Internet Media AG, for €29.4 million (£25.4 million).

Paris-based media group Hi-media has acquired AdLINK Media, the Germany-based display advertising division of AdLINK Internet Media AG, for €29.4 million (£25.4 million).

AdLINK Media has over 4,000 international websites and reaches over 94 million users a month. In the first three months of this year, the company generated revenues of €14 million.

Cyril Zimmermann, founder and CEO of Hi-media, said: “With the acquisition of AdLINK Media, Hi-media becomes one of the major players in the European online advertising network market.”

Hi-media reported revenues of €135 million in 2008.
