David Hobson, GSS managing director, said: “Our clients need a trusted partner to understand their business and work with them to provide solid security architecture for the integrity of their data.”

Chartered accountants, the Martlet Partnership LLP, were appointed to ensure the merger was achieved and completed within a short time scale.

David Macdonald, Martlet Partnership’s managing director, led the team that provided financial and tax advice to GSS. Macdonald said: “We’re convinced the synergies between GSS and Peapod will act as a springboard for further expansion and increased market share.”
