Video game accessories business Accessories 4 Technology (A4T) has secured a £4 million funding boost from the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to help with its expansion targets.

Video game accessories business Accessories 4 Technology (A4T) has secured a £4 million funding boost from the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to help with its expansion targets.

Bolton-based A4T supplies gaming accessories including steering wheels, speakers, golf clubs and fishing rods for gaming platforms such as Sony Playstation and Nintendo Wii.

Founder and managing director Andrew Shephard commented: “As we secure an increasing number of quality licences, it is essential to have the necessary funding structure in place to cover the cost of our operation.”

Manchester-based TFD Dunhams chartered accountants and business advisers provided financial advice to A4T. Managing partner Paul O’Brien commented: “This facility will provide the finance that this entrepreneurial company needs in order to develop and fulfil its undoubted potential.”

North West law firm Farleys Solicitors LLP provided legal advice on all aspects of the deal, with the legal team being led by partner Ian Liddle who commented: “Farleys have been fortunate enough to act for the company since its inception.
