Global market research supplier Euromonitor International has topped a list of the top 20 employers in the UK for employee work/life balance, according to job marketplace Glassdoor.
The ranking is based on anonymous reviews from employers and each firm is given a rating out of five. The top six all have score of a 4.6 but are separated by a further two decimal places that are in the original data.
After Euromonitor and the Bank of England MediaMatch, UNIBET and Equal Experts round off the top five. There are eight tech companies in the top 20, suggesting that employers with young, agile working practices are most appreciated by their staff.
There is a wide range of sectors represented but tellingly not one retail brand makes the top 20.
