The deal, which was for an undisclosed amount, was backed by Primary Capital and Lloyds TSB.

West Yorkshire-based Esteem was founded in 1985 and provides IT support services to public and private sector customers including the NHS. The company has a turnover of around £30 million.

Esteem announced that it plans to expand to a £60 million business through both organic growth and acquisitions. The deal is Esteem’s second acquisition this year following the acquisition of MIDAS IT Solutions in May.

Joe Connolly, CEO of Esteem Systems, says: ‘SiRViS will complement our specialised managed services portfolio with its reputable outsourced customer and IT service capabilities and doubles the size of our business to 230 employees.’

Surrey-based SiRViS employs 130 people. The company trades as Linetex and ATM and provides business customers with on-site and remote IT support and computer maintenance services.
