Taylist Media has acquired the consumer publishing business of dmg world media, a UK-based exhibition and publishing company, in a management buy-out led by former publishing and events director Patrick Taylor. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Taylist Media has acquired the consumer publishing business of dmg world media, a UK-based exhibition and publishing company, in a management buy-out led by former publishing and events director Patrick Taylor. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The consumer businesses that have been acquired include kbbreview, Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms magazine, kbbreview Industry Awards, kbbreview Expo and online products ERT and ERT Industry Awards. The company will remain in its current offices and the majority of the employees will not be affected by the new ownership.

dmg world media CEO Michael Franks said: “We identified some of our businesses as less of a strategic fit for the company, even though they were still serving their markets well. This is the best possible scenario for both sides because we have found a buyer who is eager to invest in and grow this business.”
