Daisy Group in double acquisition

Daisy Group Plc, an Uxbridge-based provider of broadband services, has acquired rivals AT Communications Group Plc and Eurotel for a combined consideration of £20.5 million.

ATC is a communications technology company that specialises in servicing small and medium-sized companies, while Eurotel is a Halifax-based telecoms supplier.

Peter Dubens, chairman of Daisy, commented: ‘The acquisitions of AT Communications and Eurotel support our strategy for providing a converged product set to this target market. This is a positive step in our growth plans.’

Daisy recently joined AIM via an £81 million reverse takeover of Freedom4 Group. The buy-outs of ATC and Eurotel bring the total number of acquisitions by Daisy CEO Matthew Riley to 27.
