- Design agency Creative Lynx has undergone a management buy-out, backed by Royal Bank of Scotland
- Dublin-based property and investment company Harcourt Developments has bought hotel Princess on Portland for £8 million
- Hospira, a global specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company has acquired software engineer Sculptor Developmental Technologies, a subsidiary of St Clair Health Corporation
- Hire Station has expanded its tool hire business with the purchase of DJ Tool Hire from its administrators Deloitte
- Great Northern Solutions has bought Cable-Talk for £2.8 million, in order to bolster its provision of cabling services for computer networks and technical voice systems
