Farmer turned entrepreneur William Chase has signed an exclusive import agreement with alcohol distributor Primeras Marcas for the sale of its apple gin in Spain.

Farmer turned entrepreneur William Chase has signed an exclusive import agreement with alcohol distributor Primeras Marcas for the sale of its apple gin in Spain.

The deal will see the Chase Distillery’s organic cider apple spirit, branded as William’s Gin, become the only gin in Primeras Marcas’s portfolio. Primeras Marcas are the exclusive Spanish agents for some of the most famous brands in the drinks industry including; Louis Roederer Champagne, Chateaux Petrus, and Mouton Rothschild.

William Chase, who founded Chase Distillery on his family farm in Herefordshire, comments: ‘We are delighted to announce our agreement with Primeras Marcas. We are very proud that ours is the only gin in their illustrious portfolio.’

In December, Chase sold his remaining share in Tyrrells Crisps, a company he launched in 2002, to concentrate on the distillery business.
