Cashbox takes Cash4All

Cash machine operator Cashbox has bought the cash machine portfolio of Cash4All in a cash-and-shares deal.

  • Amlin is to acquire Anglo-French Underwriters, the French underwriting agency, from 21 Centrale Partners, a holding company investing in mid-sized private companies. The details of the transaction were undisclosed
  • Premier Travel of Cambridge has acquired Travel Centre‘s seven travel agencies in Norwich and Dereham, taking its total number of outlets to 29. The terms of the deal were undisclosed

  • Altus Group, a provider of independent real estate consulting, has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to acquire the business assets of Capital Planning Solutions, supplier of capital planning services
  • RPS, which specialises in land/property and built environment advice, has bought Paras, a rival provider of strategic guidance to the oil and gas industry. If all agreed conditions are met RPS will pay £6.4 million for the business
  • Sojitz Corporation, a Japanese conglomerate with assets of US$27 billion, has agreed to invest US$45 million (£26.6 million) in Afren, an oil and gas exploration and production company
  • EDF, the French electricity group, is contemplating buying out its parter in joint venture Unistar, Constellation Energy
