Cyber security and software engineering business Paradigm has been bought out by CACI International as part of CACI’s growth in supporting national security missions.

US-based CACI, which has a UK division headquartered in London, says that the deal for Paradigm will expand its current cyber operations abilities. Financial details of the acquisition were undisclosed.

Paul Cofini, CACI president and chief executive officer, comments: ‘The acquisition of Paradigm will increase CACI’s capability to meet our customers’ urgent requirements for secure infrastructures and safe, reliable operations across their enterprises.’

‘The transaction demonstrates both our sustained focus on innovation and client service excellence, as well as our strategy to continually grow CACI capabilities that are vital to national security.’

US-headquartered Paradigm provides services including network security monitoring as well as design and upgrading of data centres. It has clients such as the US Departments of State, Energy and Treasury and the Federal Aviation Administration.

President and chief executive officer of Paradigm, Peter LaMontagne, says that with the combined client base the two businesses intend to open up new markets.

The deal for CACI is its second this month following the purchase of Pangia Technologies, a software engineering business.
