Legal advise for the deal was provided by a team from Mannheimer Swartling, and was led by Martin Ericsson.

Hägglunds Drives is an international supplier of complete hydraulic drive systems, separate drive motors and services. It has its main production site at its headquarters location in Mellansel, Sweden.

The Swedish group develops, manufactures, markets and services complete drive systems for applications requiring high torque and variable speeds in industries, such as mining and materials handling, marine and offshore, recycling, sugar, pulp and paper.

Its products are used to drive machines for producing bioethanol, and feature in the first prototypes for generating tidal energy.
