Casino equipment supplier Bally Technologies has purchased MacroView Labs, which provides mobile web sites and applications for the sector.
Financial details of the acquisition were undisclosed.
Bally says the acquisition of the privately held company strengthens its position in the industry and ‘ramps up’ its mobile applications business.
MacroView, which is based in San Francisco, develops smart-phone and web-based mobile applications for the hospitality, retail and casino sectors. The company also helps casinos manage its mobile content, launch mobile campaigns and interpret user data.
