Avisen Plc, an AIM-quoted performance management specialist, has acquired rival Inca Holdings for £3.5 million.

Surrey-based Inca specialises in business software. Chris and Jayne Kerrison, co-founders and senior executives of Inca, will join Avisen’s senior management team on completion.

Avisen CEO Marcus Hanke commented: ‘This is Avisen’s fourth acquisition this year as our aggressive growth strategy continues. Avisen will now be positioned as the leading IBM Cognos reseller and consultancy provider in the UK.’  

In February, Avisen reversed into AIM-listed cash shell Z Group Plc. The investment company, which targets the technology, media and science sectors issued Avisen with 86.6 million shares valued at £4.55 million.
