Avisen, a London-based performance management specialist, has acquired rival Eon Enterprise, and Eon’s wholly owned subsidiary Infocube for £585,000. Eon has no trading activity and its sole function is to act as Infocube’s holding company.

In the six months ended 31 March 2008, Infocube reported a turnover of £1.2 million and pre-tax profits of £103,000.

In February Avisen reversed into AIM-listed cash shell Z Group Plc. The investment company, which targets the technology, media and science sectors issued Avisen with 86.6 million shares valued at £4.55 million. The company now trades as Avisen Plc.

Marcus Hanke, CEO of Avisen, commented: “This is Avisen’s second acquisition this year as our aggressive growth strategy continues. Avisen will now be positioned as a leading IBM Cognos reseller and consultancy provider in the UK, which further enhances our services. We would like to welcome Infocube’s team on board and we look forward to working alongside them.”
