Avisen, a performance management specialist situated in London, has acquired Eon Enterprises, and Eon’s wholly owned subsidiary Infocube for £585,000. Eon has no trading activity and its sole function is to act as Infocube’s holding company.

In the six months ended 31 March 2008, Infocube reported a turnover of £1.2 million and pre-tax profits of £103,000.

Marcus Hanke, CEO of Avisen, commented, “This is Avisen’s second acquisition this year as our aggressive growth strategy continues. Avisen will now be positioned as a leading IBM Cognos reseller and consultancy provider in the UK, which further enhances our services. We would like to welcome Infocube’s team on board and we look forward to working alongside them.”

Buckinghamshire-based accountant Seymour Taylor advised Eon Enterprises on the deal. Partner Simon Turner led the team and commented, “We worked closely with the owner of Eon to help make a quick and smooth sale of the company, as required by all parties.”
