Waste water treatment company Bluewater Bio International has secured investment from London-listed investor Aqua Resources.

Some £2.3 million was raised to ‘accelerate [Bluewater’s] growth strategy’, bringing Aqua’s total shareholding to approximately 15 per cent.

Daniel Ishag, chief executive of Bluewater Bio, comments, ‘The funds will support our aggressive growth strategy as we continue to enter new territories to market our [proprietary] process as a leading wastewater treatment technology that has important global applications.’

This is the second investment by Aqua, a Guernsey-registered fund created to invest in technologies that address the problem of global water shortages.
