Amicus shells out on Global Armour

Amicus plans to expand the company’s customer service, technical, commercial and manufacturing capabilities.

Dr Terry McCartney of Amicus and new chairman of Global Armour said the investment “will lead to growth and development of unique and technologically advanced products”.

Moore Stephens Chartered Accountants provided corporate finance advice and financial due diligence services to Amicus. David McClean, partner, said: “We have developed a strong relationship with the buy-out firm, having advised on other recent engagements, and we are pleased to have assisted with this acquisition.

“The Amicus partners will bring the necessary skills to enable the company to build upon the strength of its worldwide reputation and to grow its business in a truly global market,” he added.
