Social work recruitment companies Amicus Recruit and SocialWork 2000 have agreed upon a merger deal.
The two companies will continue to operate as separate brands within their respective markets under the banner of 3d Recruit. The combined company will have a turnover in excess of £12 million.
James Brown, managing director of SocialWork 2000, says: ‘Together we feel that we can offer an even better service to the social care sector as it faces the challenges of the next decade. Our locums will also benefit from an increase in the range of work and training opportunities that we can offer them over a larger geographical area.’
Amicus Recruit provides recruitment and training services to the social care and health sectors . The company has offices in the UK and Australia.
SocialWork 2000 is a recruitment and management company for social care professionals for the public, private and voluntary care sectors across the UK. Founded in 1999, the company has offices in High Wycombe and Milton Keynes.
Under the terms of the deal, Amicus founder Ben Arnold will take on the role of recruitment director and will head up the temporary and permanent recruitment operations of the combined group.
