Nordic private equity fund Altor has bought Danish bunker fuel and ship supplier Wrist Group for an undisclosed sum.

Altor was advised by a team of lawyers headed by Christian Th. Kjølbye, partner at Plesner Svane Grønborg, who was supported by senior associate Andreas Kirk.

“Due to the significant amount of subsidiaries and activities outside Denmark, particular attention was given to focus the due diligence process on key issues having a valuation or otherwise material impact,” Kjølbye said. “Altor’s own considerable business insight was extremely helpful to identify such issues.”
