West Midlands-based IT business Acutec has acquired Chase Meadow Communications as it looks to expand its telephony services.

The Warwickshire-headquartered business, which is being bought for an undisclsed amount, has 75 clients.

Chris Roche, managing director of Acutec, comments: ‘We set out a couple of years ago to grow both organically and by acquisition and we are continuing with that strategy.

‘IT and telecommunications have converged in recent years and I have certainly noticed more of our IT clients requesting a ful ltelcommunications package.’
