London-based NHS healthcare specialist Advanced Computer Software (ACS) has acquired local rival StaffPlan for £1.36 million.


London-based NHS healthcare specialist Advanced Computer Software (ACS) has acquired local rival StaffPlan for £1.36 million.

London-based NHS healthcare specialist Advanced Computer Software (ACS) has acquired local rival StaffPlan for £1.36 million.

StaffPlan provides software to local authorities and independent providers of nursing and homecare. In the year ending March 2009, the company generated revenues of £1.48 million and pre-tax profits of £70,000.

Vin Murria, CEO of ACS, said: “The acquisition of StaffPlan allows us to develop further our reputation as a leading supplier of innovative software solutions to the very substantial homecare sector.”

In the eight months to 31 August 2008, ACS reported revenues of £7.6 million and pre-tax profits of £467,000.
