AMEC has acquired US engineering and environmental services business MACTEC for a cash consideration of $280 million.
Engineering and project management business AMEC, says the acquisition is part of its Vision 2015 growth strategy.
Revealed initially in December 2009, the strategy aims to exceed 100p earnings per share, increase focus on growth with further margin improvement, move towards a more efficient capital structure and take a ‘progressive approach’ to dividends.
