POSTcti snapped up by InterCall

InterCall, a subsidiary of American communications company West Corporation, has acquired Preferred One Stop Technologies (POSTcti) for an undisclosed sum.

Harrogate-based POSTcti, founded in 1997, is a provider of hosted services for unified communications in Europe and offers server and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) voice technology products. InterCall claims to be the world’s largest conferencing and collaboration services provider.

POSTcti managing director Neil May comments, ‘This acquisitions brings together the deep technical knowledge of on-premise, cloud-based and fully-hosted Unified Communications services from POSTcti, combined with InterCall’s collaboration services suite, global infrastructure and client base.’

Harrogate and Teesside-based Davidson Large provided legal advice to POSTcti and its shareholders, while Haines Watts Leeds Corporate Finance and Specialist Tax team gave tax and accounting advice on the deal. The transaction follows West’s acquisition of SKT Business Communications Services which is a systems integration and information technology firm, in March last year.

Todd Strubbe, president of West’s Unified Communications’ operating segment, adds that the two strategic acquisitions complement the company’s services and enable further global expansion.
