Science and technology focused research specialist CambridgeIP has acquired Boliven for an undisclosed sum.
 

Founded in 2006, CambridgeIP works with corporations, consultancies, academic research institutes and public sector organisations to gather patent-based business information.

Boliven is a website for research and development, intellectual property and business development professionals. Its database gives access to over 100 million patents, journal articles and other documents.
 
CambridgeIP hopes to develop Boliven to identify new opportunities for open innovation to offer consumers greater choice of free and paid-for IP information.
