PHSC buys Quality Leisure 

PHSC, a provider of health, safety and environmental consultancy services, has acquired Quality Leisure Management (QLM) for up to £460,000.

PHSC, a provider of health, safety and environmental consultancy services, has acquired Quality Leisure Management (QLM) for up to £460,000.

QLM provides consultancy services to the sport and leisure sector and generated sales of £825,000 and pre-tax profits of £100,000 in 2009.

Peter Mills, founder of QLM, will remain as managing director for a minimum of three years. All other employees will stay at the business, which will continue to operate from its premises in Gloucestershire.

In the six months ending September 2009, Kent-based PHSC reported a drop in revenue of 8 per cent to £2.2 million and net profits of £117,000.
