Avisen buys Quadrum Consulting

London-based performance management specialist Avisen Plc has acquired South Africa-based rival Quadrum Consulting for £200,000.

Quadrum provides business intelligence and works in partnership with IBM Cognos, a developer of business and performance management software. In the year ending February 2009, Quadrum generated revenues of £312,000 and pre-tax profits of £98,000.

In February, Avisen reversed into AIM-listed cash shell Z Group Plc. The investment company, which targets the technology, media and science sectors issued Avisen with 86.6 million shares valued at £4.55 million. The company now trades as Avisen Plc.
