Contract Fire Security snaps up local firm

Sutton Coldfield-based Contract Fire Security has acquired local rival Premier Planned Maintenance for an undisclosed sum. The combined entity will trade as Fire and Safety Services.

  • Norfolk-based ARW Wealth Managers has merged with local mortgage advisers Hayden Jones Mortgage Services for an undisclosed sum.
  • German retailer Metro Group has acquired a controlling stake in British firm 24-7 Entertainment, which supplies technology used in music downloads. No financial details of the deal were provided.
