Retec acquires ODD London

Retec Digital Plc, a multi-channel marketing services company and a provider of guided selling services, has acquired specialist design and marketing agency ODD London for £540,000 in a cash-and-shares deals. A further payment of £30,000 is expected.

Jon Cole, Retec CEO, said: “The acquisition significantly extends Retec’s range of capabilities in the fields of brand marketing, advertising and kiosk design.”

Retec, whose clients include the major supermarkets, plans to expand the group’s product offering with the acquisition of ODD’s client list, which includes Nike and Sony.

haysmacintyre acted as reporting accountant. The deal was led by partner Ian Cliffe, with the assistance of Natasha Frangos and Mark Allwood on the financial and tax due diligence.

Cliffe said: “This deal will enable Retec to continue its growth within the sector and is an important strategic acquisition within its business plan going forward.”
