Paul Nadin, who founded the website in 1999, will exit the business to pursue new opportunities. It will now be led by the buy-in team, which includes ex-Yahoo executive Nick Hynes as non-executive chairman and online marketing specialist Glen Collins as CEO.

Hynes comments: ‘Review Centre has been one of the innovators among online review sites so I’m excited to be given this opportunity. Our team’s online marketing experience will help drive increased growth for the business, while we are looking to enhance the revenue generated per user through improving advertising revenues.

‘Our future plans for the business include international expansion and bolt-on acquisitions.’

ReviewCentre.com provides more than 180,000 reviews across a broad range of products including cars, electronic gadgets and travel agents. In the financial year to August 2007 the website had a turnover of £2.1 million and pre-tax profits of £1.2 million.
