YFM Group has invested £250,000 in D&H Sign Manufacturing. The investee, which lists Waitrose, the Royal Mail and Woolworths among its clients, secured the money from YFM’s Yorkshire and Humber Equity Fund.

Investment director Mark Hunter led YFM’s funding. He says the team was impressed by the quality of D&H’s management, the company’s growth plans and its client list.

D&H, which designs, manufactures, installs and maintains signs, says it will use the funding to move into new markets.

The company was established in 1908 and today has operations in Leeds and Milton Keynes. It has developed environmentally friendly designs including signs using low-energy LED illumination and self-powered signs.

Its in-house manufacturing capabilities include metal engineering, painting, screen printing, engraving, and acrylic and metal cutting.
