£27m fund prepares for Liverpool launch

Alliance Fund Managers, operator of regional investor the Merseyside Special Investment Fund, is poised to launch a new £27 million investment vehicle on Tuesday 27 September.

Liverpool Seed Fund will provide cash tranches of up to £1.5 million to support fledgling entrepreneurs, technologies and businesses in the Liverpool area.

Funding will be provided to help entrepreneurs through three main stages, namely: proof of concept, commercialisation and early-stage development.
