The deal will enable 1Spatial to expand into the Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) marketplace and is expected to increase its annual revenues by £500,000.

Mackrell Turner Garrett, who has acted since ComSine’s incorporation, was instructed on the shareholders’ behalf with Gillian Denley, associate partner, leading the legal team.

Denley said: “We were particularly appreciative of the active involvement of the principal shareholders, Richard and Ian, in every step of the transaction. They ensured the salient terms of the sale were achieved and that their future roles in 1Spatial were catered for satisfactorily.

“We believe Richard and Ian, and other ComSine employees, are keen to pursue the philosophies they have developed.”
