Overview

Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE) was created in 2015 to found, fund and build transformational businesses via its partnership with the University of Oxford. Actively focused on a core portfolio of around 40 companies spanning three high-growth, high-impact sectors; life sciences, health tech and deep tech.

To date, the VC has invested £500m in over 80 ambitious companies built on Oxford science, helping progress 27 from Seed to Series A, and 21 to Series B and beyond, including two IPOs and five trade sales. Takes 5% founding equity in each startup. Has invested in 135 Oxford university science spinouts to date.
